Très began as a graphic novel in 2007, by the pen of David Toffolo, and is now being adapted to be staged for the first time. Très as three actors, three stories, three movements that are released as opposed to a power that breaks in the form of a dictatorship of law-abiding.
is in an imaginary country, similar to Argentina's military coup of 1976 (but not only), in the form of the three stories, each independent of the others, yet each representing a moment in the life cycle of power.
The beginning sees one of three characters-actors that after having committed an unidentified subversive act awaits along with his "protector" of lesser punishment, atonement promised by the government in order to deter any form of dissidence. The simple ceremony will be less formal and very real results.
The second story is a tension, a clash between the three actors who are (un) dress of three symbols: Art, Power, Society. In this act, set in a timeless place, wears a wait mysterious and exhausting to be met on time.
In the third story come together in a grotesque but the two levels: public and private sectors. To the discrepancies between the young daughter of the President and his father joins the political struggle handled with desecrating the girl that puts to shame the morbid seriousness and attachment of the father-president in power. then as reflection on power and its implications as place of observation democracy today, as a magnifying glass on the gears of the system-contemporary society. The group
Gesticulating was founded in 2008, bringing together a wealth of experience coming from the university and beyond. He has participated equally to the production and realization of the performance both in the art of directing and dramaturgy, both in the logistics and organization, try to create their own modus operandi.
